Rock paintings and green ways in Spain

Two different themes that have one thing in common: mountains and mountain ranges. For prehistoric people, the numerous mountain ranges provided shelter. The mountain ranges were and are obstacles for the development and exploitation, which is why railway lines were built in the early 20th century, which were closed again on average 50 years later due to unprofitability. Around 2005 the "Via Verdes" project started, in which these former railway lines were converted into cycling and hiking trails.
