Das nenne ich benchmarking; wir als Besucher des Stoned wissen eigentlich schon vom Bauch heraus, dass wir nächstes Jahr wiederkommen. Nur dieses Mal bekommen wir knallharte Fakten in Form von ersten Bands und da scheint es auch keine Ausreden mehr zu geben. Ein schattiges Zelt - gleichzeitig auch Regenschutz - im Infield macht das an sich schon gemütliche Festival noch gemütlicher, fast schon französisch, zumal es wie immer leckeres Essen zu toller Musik in einem offenen Zelt gibt. Knapp 9000 Follower und das Festival ist ausverkauft? Dann kommen wohl die Hälfte der Follower zur diesjährigen Ausgabe. Wir machten schon einmal die positive Erfahrung mit dem WhatsApp-Kanal von Rock im Wald, als wir ein Ticket für unseren überraschenden Besuch suchten und es irgendwie sehr unbürokratisch und nett mit dem Ticketkauf und der Übergabe klappte. Ob das heuer auch der Fall sein wird? Bestimmt gibt es noch das eine oder andere Ticket vor Ort.

For Swedes, it seems it's not difficult to make catchy rock music without pandering to musical role models, creating a sound that perfectly blends fuzzy stoner, kick-ass punk, and metal.
