In November 1980, the following review appeared in the German music magazine Musikexpress. I quote: "My God, do they go for it! No, this record doesn't need much explanation. You can either hate Motörhead or love them. And I love them! They're so wonderfully messed up that you wonder when they'll just collapse dead on stage (or in the studio) with their brutal, vomited-out sound. [...] Almost all the tracks have the same fast timing; they race through heavy metal history, skirt the punky late seventies, and let their long hair fly. 12 songs, short and sweet: machine guns in action." And now Motörhead replaces "The Dungbeetle Conspiracy" and "Ace of Spades" with "The Dungbeetle Conspiracy," and 12 songs with 11 songs.
