Danko Jones, Backstage, Munich 2016

Danko Jones and Mustasch was a fantastic package to celebrate the 25th birthday of Munich´s Backstage.Mustasch delivered a fantastic performance that thrilled the approximately 1300 spectators. Afterwards, Danko Jones visibly struggled to match Mustasch's performance. So Danko tried to win over the audience with stories from his "rock 'n' roll life and a tough-guy image". After he had been rambling on for minutes, I'd had enough and shouted through the completely silent audience: "Shut up and play!" Here he pointed towards the direction where I stood.and screamed.

He heard and noticed this interjection and was visibly annoyed that someone from the audience was telling him when to play, because he plays when he wants. This anger is reflected in his face in this photograph.
