Unto Others (USA) - I Believe in Halloween II

When even the most extreme tags aren't enough to even manage to describe a band's musical style, then something truly extraordinary is on the turntable. I only discovered this band with their latest album, "I Believe in Halloween II," and at first, I didn't know where to place their very particular style. Well, it's truly a musical selection of the best from seemingly contradictory styles like heavy metal, gothic, horror, and punk, without sounding like the respective protagonists of these genres, but rather unique. Furthermore, the vocals don't sound like Bruce Dickinson, Andrew Eldritch, or Glenn Danzig. All the songs are catchy without being poppy, heavy without being heavy metal, and raw without being overly punk. And it's precisely this balance between different musical worlds that makes this album absolutely unique, unlike the Italian band The Sade, who sound very much like a guitar-heavy version of The Sisters of Mercy. So, anyone who is a fan of one of the aforementioned bands and styles can buy this album without reservation and indulge in hard guitars in a comfortable, fur-lined environment.
