It is not only the double-sense name of this festival, it´s also the location and the line-up and the history of the line-ups. Located in the Bavarian Forest (Forest in Bavarian Dialect: Woid), in Upper Palatina, one of the quite isolated regions in Germany. This year I felt like throwing back in the late 70´s and early 80´s, when I was a teenager and hungry for music. It was possible to discover each and every week some bands during countless concerts, organized by some nerds and freaks around Tübingen and Reutlingen. Same this year. Okay, The Great Machine and The Necromancers are quite "big and famous", but the location and venue turned their status to club band with as much contact as possible with the audience.
