Hybrid Rock

Nocebo - Neverland

Actually, I can't play a guitar; I tuned it to grab power chords or open chords with a finger. I can play bass rather, more like Lemmy, so rather a deep rhythm guitar. So far I have made all the music that I could make alone or with a band; Hardcore Punk, Stoner, Café del Mar or 70's rock. For music that I wanted to do, but could not do it purely craftsmanship, I took the AI to help and the result was the Egonomic project. Now Suno has set up a new function in which you can download stems. In them everything is mixed together that somehow sounds like drums or guitar. These stems are available as a MP3 or WAV file, which you can upload in GarageBand or Logic, clean from digital garbage and put your own guitar or bass track over it, replay or even replace the AI-created stems. Maybe I'm not the first to do something like that, but at least the first one who writes about how he does it. I replace what my lack in craftsmanship with AI, my prosthesis. The percentage of creativity is a lot higher for me than my musical skills. Creativity is the productive handling of tensions. These arise from the mismatch between claim and reality and this mismatch is compensated with AI. I never know what comes out of the respective prompt, similar to hours of jams with bands. So the results of the AI lead me to music styles that I would never have discovered or followed without them.

So my theory of Hybrid Rock is the fusion of man and machine, to take the best from both sides.
