The trip to Desertfest in Berlin is similar to our trips to Hellfest in Clisson. Almost like a pilgrimage, the journey is the destination; at each stop, we discover new sights and natural beauties, as well as extremely nice and friendly people in East Germany. And as Forrest Gump once said, that life is like a box of chocolates because you don't know what's inside, that's always the case at Desertfest. Well-known bands can quickly become a disappointment because they don't meet certain expectations, while you're much more open-minded towards newcomers. Thus, our report this year on this truly fantastic festival is also a very personal one.
