I guess, if you want to rock in the Netherlands, you will find huge foot steps made by Peter Pan Speedrock and it could be difficult to find your own way to rock. And it´s good to hear that Hell Valley High carry on the torch of melodic Scandinavian Rock and punky influenced Kick Ass rock with twin guitars and a catchy chorus, doing this on their own way, quite more melodic than PPSR and with a bit more of dirt than most of the Scandinavian bands. "Lilith´s Lullaby" is the first single from the upcoming album "Amber Eyes", which will be released on march, 22rd 2024. This band managed it to put a lot of 20% of the music together, which I don´t like that much and created a song which I like for 100%. Yes! After a couple of years full of silence from this band, we received a sign of life just before Christmas. And what a massive "We are back, with a bang"- thing; Punk, Stoner, a bit of Glam, heavy guitars. What more to party? A fantastic appetizer for the upcoming record and hopefully this band will appear on several festivals during summer 2024.

I guess, it will be a great concert; Duel is one of my absolute favorite bands, blending my record collection in the between 1979 and 1981 and Moon Woman, one of the most interesting Austrian bands. Check them out on their Bandcamp site.

The WDR is broadcasting Rockpalast since 1977 and now they recorded almost the whole Freak Valley Festival 2023 for all those - I guess the majority - who couldn´t buy a ticket. As always: a great quality in sound and camera and lights.

Sydney´s Heavy Rock outfit The Dirty Earth really kicks ass. Tenille Rogers´vocals stand in Ann Wilson´s (Heart) tradition. But the band is far away from mainstream rock or jingalingaling. Classic Rock at its best, with a pinch of Fuzz in it.
