As a musician, I don't only appreciate music that fits into my prefabricated musical patterns, but also bands that are simply good bands and operate at a high level both technically and compositionally. This includes the Slovenian band Ambra, whose music doesn't really appeal to me because it doesn't fit into my rock and roll-influenced framework. Ambra is closer to Mastodon, Tool, and Gojira than to Motörhead, and I'm curious how they compose their music, how a band manages to play rhythms...
With The Spin, Messa takes another big step forward.
