The Scottish trio reduces all the hassle of actual music to speed, power, and somewhat meaningless lyrics, and then the song kicks in after a short intro, breaks your neck after two minutes, and you're left wondering: why isn't there more from this band, or rather, more music like this? Especially when even hardcore bands are now trying to write complex songs? Hey, it's 1, 2, 3, 4, and then the band is going to blow you, the listener or spectator, to the back wall of the venue, and afterwards we'll have a beer together and talk about rugby or football. Life is simple, and in its simplicity and reduction, it's quite beautiful. These are the heuristics of rock 'n' roll.
