Blind Mess (MUC) - The Storm Within

After shaking things up with their last album After The Storm, the Munich-based trio Blind Mess is back – and still pissed, loud, and full of fuzz. Their new album The Storm Within is the second part of their “Storm Duology”, and judging by the four tracks out now, it's going to hit just as hard.

The opener "The Bell" already shows where the journey is going: heavy riffs, dirty grooves, and vocals that sound like they're shouted straight from the gut. It’s a song about inner conflict, and the band makes it feel real – no fake drama here.

"On The Edge" brings punk energy with a stoner rock backbone. The lyrics deal with feeling excluded and pushed aside by society. It’s fast, angry, and yet catchy enough to stay in your head after the first listen.

With "Sick Society", Blind Mess a middle finger to the state of the world. The song mixes frustration with sharp political commentary, all wrapped in a hard-driving rhythm section that doesn’t slow down for anyone.

And then there’s “Bleeding Hearts”, probably the most emotional track so far. It's slower, but powerful - a song about emotional wounds and staying human in a cold world. Not cheesy, just honest.

The sound is raw but solid – a DIY production that doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. That’s part of the charm: this is handmade music with rough edges and real feeling.

Conclusion:
Blind Mess don’t try to be perfect – they try to be real. And with The Storm Within, they’re well on their way to delivering another honest, heavy, and passionate album. If the rest of the tracks are as strong as the ones we’ve heard, this storm will definitely leave a mark.
