This line-up is already a hell of a line-up and - rumor spreading´round - one act is still missing. It looks like the twin festival of the Blue Moon Festival in Cottbus, means like Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. Actually, Rock im Wald really is the sequel of Stoned from the Underground; half of the audience meet themself on both festivals.

After receiving the invitation for the Bluemoon Festival 2024, I started to check the unknown bands in the second row and i discovered SautruS from Poland. Their music is located deep in early to mid 70´s influences like Prog, Kraut, Avantgarde and Psychedelic and this band puts them all in one song, no matter if the song lasts 3 or 7 minutes. Once you got in this komplexe arrangements your brain has a lot of food to consume. Very interesting on an album, I´m already curios now to see this...

Ze Germans know how to mesmerize and to rock at the same time; Kosmodrom published with the track "Dazed in Space" a fantastic appetizer for their upcoming album and if the album will be only half as colorful and varied as this song, this will be an outstanding instrumental album, which can be pre-ordered on heir Bandcamp site. 8 minutes of mantraesque clear guitars and harsh breaks, based on a relaxed laidback rhythm is really worth to listen. A perfect day starter at 9 a.m.

First of all, Mars Red Sky is painting with sounds and for me it´s more enjoyable at home at not in a concert venue. Their music needs time and also a lot of space and it´s far away from Rock´n Roll.
